Hunter Singers is a vibrant community choir organisation based in Newcastle, Australia, dedicated to nurturing and developing young voices and promoting Australian choral music. In 2019, the Hunter Singers celebrated 30 years of exceptional music-making, marking a history that includes a range of successful international tours, high-profile performances and significant commissioned works.

The group comprises two ensembles, providing valuable musical opportunities for developing voices. The Hunter Singers features older students from government High Schools in the Hunter region, while members of the Hunter Trebles are drawn from local primary schools and junior high schools.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Hunter Singers acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of our region: the Awabakal, Worimi and Wonnarua people. We recognise the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
